A Message from Our Youth & Family Coordinator
Hello First Lutheran Church families and community members,
My name is Tana Tweten, and I am blessed to serve as the Youth & Family Coordinator at First Lutheran Church.
My heart for this ministry is to help children, youth, and families feel welcomed, valued, and connected. I believe that faith grows through relationships, and my hope is to create opportunities where children can learn about God's love, build friendships, and discover what it means to be part of a church family.
We are entering an exciting season of building and growing our youth and family ministry. My goal is to listen to families, learn what they need, and work together to create meaningful opportunities for faith formation, fellowship, and service.
Through programs like CSI, family events, and other ministry opportunities, we want children and families to know they have a place at First Lutheran Church. Whether your family has been part of our congregation for many years or you are looking for a church home, you are welcome here.
I believe every child matters, every family has a story, and every person has gifts to share. Together, with God's guidance, we can build a strong foundation where children and families can grow in faith and feel the love of Christ.
As we begin this journey together, I ask for your prayers—for wisdom, guidance, and patience as we discern the best ways to serve our children, youth, and families. Please pray for our volunteers, our families, and the children who participate in our programs. Most importantly, please pray that God continues to lead our ministry and helps us create opportunities where His love can be shared.
I look forward to meeting you, hearing your ideas, and walking alongside you as we continue to grow together in faith.
Please feel free to reach out anytime. I would love to connect with you!
Blessings,
Tana Tweten
