Women of the Evangelical Church in America

The Mission of Women of the ELCA is:
To mobilize women to
act boldly on their 
faith in Jesus Christ.

Purpose Statement:
"As a community of women
created in the image of God, 
called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and 
empowered by the Holy Spirit,
We commit ourselves to
grow in faith,
affirm our gifts,
support one another in our callings,
engage in ministry and action, and
promote healing and wholeness in the church,
and society, and the world."

WELCA meets the second Tuesday
of every month at 2:00 pm. 
Before the meeting there is a bible study at 1:00.  Everyone is invited. 
Our meetings consist of brief business
followed by a program of varied topics. 
This is then followed by coffee and fellowship. 

WELCA supports various programs. 
An amazing amount of work is accomplished by women.
