First Lutheran Church Foundation
The Foundation established in 1979, is a perpetual fund. The Foundation's resources are invested and managed with care given to preserve principal, enhance earnings, and support the work of God's Kingdom. Only the interest earned on the fund is expended, unless otherwise directed by the donor. The earnings from the Foundation are intended for special needs and programs, not for the ordinary administration and maintenance of the church. The interest maybe used for capital improvements, scholarships, support for First Lutheran's programs or for one time unique opportunities.
Consider the foundation...
A gift to the foundation is
never forgotten and never ends.
Building A Legacy
Our gifts can be the beginning of a legacy, resources left to our church and its programs that grow and expand for future use in God's Kingdom. Each generation will build upon the legacy of the previous generation.
The First Lutheran Church Foundation is established to allow God's people to express their appreciation for the gifts and blessings given them and to provide a legacy for the future. It is committed to preserving the donated funds or property for the betterment of the parish and the accomplishment of its goals locally, nationally and globally to the glory of God.
The First Lutheran Church Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization. All contributions are tax deductible. Much good is accomplished and yet tax-savings may be derived for the donor.
How To Make A Gift
Gifts may be given immediately or may be deferred. They may be gifts of cash, property or securities. Life insurance and bequests are common deferred gifts.
The Foundation helps donors provide security for loved ones, and, at the same time, builds a legacy for the church and its programs.
